2 and 3

We just finished the birthday season at our house. Brad and I are both a year older (and we've been married for 5 years now!) and we now have a 3 year old girl, and a 2 year old boy. It's hard to believe we've been parents so long and it's amazing how much Olivia and Kyle have changed and how they continue learn and grow so quickly! Here is quick look at what Olivia and Kyle are like right now.
Olivia (aka Olivaboo or Boo)
Olivia loves to go places and do things. The last question she asks each night and the first question in the morning is "where are we going for a fun day" (followed by "What is for breakfast?)! She still loves to eat, although she's more picky than she used to be. Her very favorite things to eat are eggs and peaches. She likes to play with friends (although she is still quite shy) and to be around other people. She is very observant and likes to watch people. Olivia LOVES music! She sings ALL the time and is always surprising me with new songs that she knows (both the tune and words). Lately she has also been making up a lot of new songs related to all sorts of things. Olivia likes to read and do puzzles and take care of her doll named "Girl". She also likes to play with and take care of Kyle. She helps him do lots of things (that he can usually do fine by himself). Olivia is excited for when she is bigger and can go to the temple with a man to get married and (most importantly) get a pretty ring. She loves makeup and jewelry and choosing which shoes to wear and talking on the phone!
Kyle (aka Buddy or Mr. Magoo)
Kyle is a sweet boy and he is very lovable! He loves and takes good care of all of his favorite stuffed animals--Penguin (pang-in), Shamu (also a penguin), Girl (his is a teddy bear), and many more. He is very affectionate and friendly and concerned when anyone is sad/hurt. He talks a lot (and very well!) and still has a very expressive face. His favorite foods right now are bananas and cheese. He LOVES balls (especially basketball!!!), buses, and trucks! Kyle has a great sense of humor--which is funny since he's little and people don't expect him to talk much, let alone say something silly. He is always saying and doing silly things to make us (especially Olivia) laugh! He wants to be with Olivia all the time--he calls her "O-ya-ya". Kyle likes to play with toys and doesn't mind if we stay home for a morning to just play. He loves to dump buckets/boxes but he also likes to organize his toys. He always wants to play with playdough. Kyle is becoming much more independant and wants to do everything by himself (except go to nursery at church, which always involves lots of tears). His favorite thing to do outside (besides basketball) is to go down the slide--on his stomach with his feet first. These are our kids and we sure love them!!!
