Happy Easter!

We had a "Banana Hunt" instead of an Easter Egg Hunt for Olivia this year. She loved it! I figured that she would care more about finding a banana than about finding a colored egg, especially since she does not eat candy. Olivia was very excited that she got to eat 2 1/2 of the Easter Bananas that she found. (She would have liked to eat all 5, but we decided that she'd had plenty.)

Kyle had fun watching Olivia run around and eat her yummy treats.

The Easter Bunny brought bubbles, which turned out to be a fun thing to do inside since it was so rainy outside today.Kyle was fascinated by the bubbles! He was reaching all over to try to grab them and he couldn't figure out which bubbles to look at. This is the first time he's cared about bubbles.

When Kyle was sitting on Brad's lap this afternoon he kept leaning down to hug and kiss Olivia, which she thought was hilarious! After Kyle decided he was done with that game, Olivia kept asking him to do "more kisses please" and she was upset that he would not do more. Olivia and Kyle were both super happy today, which made it a very fun Easter!

This week Kyle has started to fold his arms during prayers (something that Olivia learned to do only about 7 months ago). He is pretty cute getting ready to pray. Last night I opened my eyes in the middle of our prayer to see if Olivia still had her arms folded. I saw her pointing to Kyle, folding her arms, and nodding her head at him--just like I do to remind her to fold her arms for the whole prayer. Olivia will be a great mother someday.
